Hank Leo Jr.
This is a wonderful collection of essays that are touching, reminiscent, and downright funny. Most are less than 3 pages in length, so it's a great book to keep handy when you only have a few minutes to spend reading. So many of Leo's memories are universal. Anyone between the ages of 25 and 75 will relate to the characters and situations described in his scenarios. We've all hated waiting in line. We've all wondered why we are drawn to our hometowns. We've all said, "Remember the good old days." This book says all of that - and more.

One of the best books I have ever read I can identify with some of the situations in the book hank hit it out of the park with this one. The good news is there are three more to follow the bad news is well there is none A must read for anyone who grew up in a small town in the sixties and seventies.

An easy read that I could relate to. Hank writes as if he were speaking to you...his use of scripture relating to real life is admirable and helpful at the same time. I had at times a good chuckle...and at times a good cry. You'll be happy you read this one. It's from "the heart."

The story of the toolbox could be mine . My dad also gave me such a gift and it was awhile before I began to use it. It wasn't until after my own father passed did I realize the lessons both he and God we're trying to teach me. God allows things to happen in my life that eventually make me stronger, but he always provides the right tools (people) to see me through. I think it's a matter of opening our eyes to God so we can see how much he has placed in our toolbox. Hank's book was spot on with our relationship with God.
